Car lovers came together for a good cause at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo on Monday. More than 200 people participated in a Ferrari charity auction, which raised more than 500,000 euros, or about $723,000 at current exchange rates. The Reventon Roadster details are still a bit under wraps, but we’re pretty certain it will be powered by the same lump as the LP650-4 Roadster which is currently making its way down Lamborghini’s production line. That will endow the Reventon Roadster with a 0-60mph time of around 3.4 seconds. There is still an outside chance that the Roadster will get the engine from the LP670-4, but that’s a ‘Wait and See’ scenario until Lamborghini coughs up some proper detail.
Despite a fine of up to £1,000 for failing to do so, 2 million UK drivers are driving on expired photo card driving licences. Back in December, one of the Cars UK team had cause to hire a car – or at least try to – but was horrified to discover that his photo card driving licence had expired. A quick check across the team revealed one other expired photo card license and two who were still driving on the old pre photo card licenses.
